Toys your 2 year old DS love
I need to get gifts today for my friends' twin boys.
I will either get one big thing for them to both play with, or two small things.
Toy needs to be on the small side since they are apt dwellers.
help! thanks!

Madelyn is really into crayons and drawing. We also use Play-Do. Oooh- sidewalk chalk and ANY bubble-blowers are huge fun for her as well.

I got my friends twin boys a water table and it was a really big hit.
DS will be 2 this summer he is into:
Thomas trains
trucks i.e. the hess truck
cars
mega blocks
puzzles
arts and crafts (crayons, markers, paint)
playdough
basket ball hoop
softball
big bounce ball
musical instruments (guitar, drum, piano, xylephone)
elmo
I think I am going to get DS play food and pots and pans for his birthday. I know my inlaws got him an easil. My parents are getting him a bounce thing for outside.
ETA: The bubble mower. That is also a favorite toy.
They may also like tools or books.

Many things that say 3+ I have been using since 18+ months, it's all about parental supervision & the type of child they are. My DD isn't one to try to eat things, so I'm ok with some "older" type toys.
I agree with lots of ideas on this page, although I'm kind of out of the loop on boys toys

Madelyn recently inherited a Sit and Spin and LOVES it. She has the one that plays music. My nephew has the Spiderman one.

Crafty things seem good too. My son just turned two and LOVES his playdoh ( plays with it 3 times a day and yes it says 3+ but thats just a guideline)....
Also Mr. Potato heads...
Crayon, markers, paper, sticker books....
He also loves cars, dump trucks, trucks, trains.
Tools...he is obsessed with his tool sets.

Can't go wrong with bath toys !!!!
They have bath crayons etc too 
Also fridge magnets ( Fridge phonics, etc...)
