Trader Joe's Roasted Sunflower Seed Butter
is so delicious! I became allergic to nuts as an adult and have been missing it so I picked some of this up yesterday and am hooked! Had it on a sandwich today and totally felt like I was eating pb! Just wanted to mention it for anyone looking for a good substitute

I picked it up for the first time last week because DS just developed the peanut allergy (I'm BFing so he gets it in my milk). It *almost* as good as PB!!!

Yes! DS goes to a nut free school and I send him in with this, he loves it. He calls it peanut butter flowers

Sounds good...is the consistence like natural PB? And it tastes like PB? I will look into this. Are the nutritionals better than PB?

Consistency is very similar to pb, but not as thick. Spreads very easily. Tastes very similar but there's a slight difference. I think it is so tasty! Nutritionally similar as well. I'm just so excited because I've gone more than 10 yrs. without a pb fix! Now I have to try it in recipes (like cookies) to see if it works like pb.

This is what I give to my kids(also peanut allergy) I also found organic called sunbutter at whole foods.

This is what I give to my kids(also peanut allergy) I also found organic called sunbutter at whole foods.
My son's school is peanut and nut free and this is acceptable to bring into school. My son LOVES peanut butter and likes this just as much.
