Traffic Ticket Q

If you get a ticket for an expired inspection, and you get an inspection- can you forward your new inspection to avoid paying the ticket? I checked the DMV website and I didn't see anything.

Thanks!

Re: Traffic Ticket Q

Nope, u have to pay because at the time of summons you didnt not have a current inspection.

You may to send evidence that you did have your car inspected along with the ticket and money.

ETA: It happened to me too...thats how I know.

ex MY ins had been up since 6/06 I got a tickt I just have to pay it
IF it just exp 10/06 11/06 I would get it inspected and send a copy in peading NOT GUILTY and you should be fine

MAKE a copy of everythign you seend in

GOOD luck

I'm pretty sure you have to pay it regardless.

Re: Traffic Ticket Q

I got a ticket once for an expired registration, and all I had to do was get it taken care of. I mailed in the ticket and the copy of the new registration and didn't have to pay.
