train pass (round trip) expiring soon
i lost and then found a train pass that will expire this weekend--it says on it no refund after 6 months--does this mean that i can still get a refund bc it's not expired yet?
....we were going to see a show in the city and the train broke down while we were waiting --so we decided to drive in or we would be late for the show!--i'd thought i would have used it by now but that didn't happen!

I was just on a train this weekend (rare for me) and overheard the conductor saying to someone that the rules just changed yet again. Now they only honor a round trip for a week or so (can't remember exactly but it is a shorter time period). You can try but with the tightened up restrictions I doubt it.

You have up to six months from date of purchase to get a refund or exchange for OLD tickets.
The new rules apply to new tickets.

so does this mean i just go to a train station ticket booth and ask for a refund/exchange? im going to the city next month--so the exchange would work for me!
