Training for a 10k
I can comfortably do a 5k but don't know how I should comfortably train for a 10k. Any advice?

there are a lot of free c210k's out there.
i believe that jeff galloway and hal higdon also have 10k training plans.
really, what you want to do is to continue to increase your mileage slowly. have one long run per week (usually the weekend) and then maintenance runs/walks during the week.
throw in some cross training and you'll get there in no time

You should be able to comfortably increase mileage by 10% each week. You don't technically need to be able to run a 10k distance before the race, you'll have adrenaline and excitement to help you get through the rest of the race!
