Training for a Spartan Race or Survival Race
Where do I begin?
I had a baby 5 months ago..I gained weight have not excericed in almost a year. Started Atkins diet last week down 5 lbs so far.
Now it VERY hard to go to the gym me and my DH work opposite shifts. I am Day and he is night. I leave my house at 6:00am and get home at 5:00pm. Already exhausted I then need to take care of my 2 girls..feed, bath, bedtime..By then I am exhausted. I want to start excercising..Trying to get a double Jogging stroller so after dinner I can at least start walking which I will gradually lead up to jogging. Anyway..I know to do the mud races I need to strength train as well since its physical. I dont know where to begin? This is All new to me. I WANT to do this!! Any other moms out there that can share there routines and how you train. I need to be ready by the summer. Is this possible or am I expecting too much?

Try to follow those push up , sit up, burpee challenges. They don't require too much time or equipment. That will be a good start.
