Training help
I have a yortese. She is 8 months old. She is going on the paper in the mornings and while we are out all day. However, if we are home and happen to leave the bedroom door open she will make her way in there and go to the bathroom right away- almost anytime she is in thre. I know I just need to keep the door shut. But she will follow me in there and go within minutes. She loves going on the rug. What can I do? She really has a mind of her own. She was also chewing walls until I started spraying bitter apple on everything. Thanks for your help.

Re: Training help
It's the rug. Either take it up or keep the door closed. They like to go on the rug, it's more like outside I guess.

Re: Training help
Holden went through a period where he would come in from outside and go on the rug! It took months to break him from the habit. I agree with Gerty -- either keep her away from the room with the rug or take it up. Good luck
