Transferring balances on credit cards

I want to apply for a 0% credit card offer I got in the mail. Can you transfer a balance from a credit card that's under your DH's name onto a card for yourself? I am listed as an additional card holder on this particular account but it's actually his account. They didn't run my credit to be on it. They just issued me a card so I have access to it. I tried looking it up on the websites everyone here recommended but couldn't find what I was looking for. The 0% expires on his card in November so we were going to split up the amount on 2 different cards. Thanks everyone!

yes, you can do this. i have transfered balances between my cards and DH's cards, based on who gets the better offer.
