Transitioning from Seperation Class to Pre-School

Logan is 3 years 4 months old and I had him in Seperation Class for 2 seasons, first time was 1x a week, second season was 2x a week. He is now going to Pre-School 3x a week and most of the time he asking me which school are we going to his old one or his new one and he answers me that he doesn't want to go to his new one only to his old one.

It's been 2 months now and I was hoping this would pass and that he just liked the old school better because their were better toys or that it was mostly playtime or both.
Now I just keep wondering if their is something about the teachers that he doesn't like. Are they not giving him enough attention, not nice to him or what?

I want to ask if I can spend a day at school with him to see what exactly goes on. Maybe I should try to find another preschool to send him to, but then I feel bad that he might have gotten used to it there and now I am taking him away.

Logan is shy and he needs to warm up to things before he really likes it. He usually says that he had fun at school, but its been 2 months and I would think he would be warmed up by now. I just don't get why in the car on the way there he is always saying he doesn't want to go to his new school Chat Icon

What should I do ladies?
How was your experience with your DC when he started preschool?

I did this with my son. We did 2 years of mommy & me, transition, and started preschool in one place, then I switched him to his "new" school.

He asked to go to the "old" school all the time for the first few months, even cried. After 5 months or so he was fine, although it's been a year and a half and he still asks about it.

Do you get a bad feeling from the place/teachers?

If not, then I would just give it some more time. He will adapt. Chat Icon
