Transitioning meeting

My ongoing just called to say we have to schedule a transition meeting. My daughter will be 2.5 in July. She won't be three til February and won't start school til september 2016. What can I expect during this meeting? Is it just an informal thing?

I had to call the cpse office to send me paperwork to set up evals (they told me this can be done after they turn 2.5) then they will notify you of your meeting date with them and based on the evals, recommend placement/services
