Travel stroller bag - Gate Check

We are going away next week and I want to gate check the MacLaren for Lukie. Think a bag to put it in is a little anal or smart considering it's not a cheap stroller and under the plane isn't the cleanest?

Too bad there isnt a carrying case like the pack n play have.

I have a travel stroller bag and plan on using it when we go on vacation. I see what happens to my luggage, therefore I would want to protect my stroller, especially the $$ one's

Not a bad idea at all! I would do that if I had a bag!

I would use a cover or even a clear plastic garbage bag.

We had one and they said we didn't need it - and we didn't, but let me tell you as I am sitting on the plane getting DD into the car seat, I look out the window to see her stroller go flying down a shoot/slide thingy - and it hits the cement.
I was like
But it was fine - the problem was - since I had a basket underneath, I had her rain cover for her stroller in the basket, that went flying as well. But I did get it back when we got off the plane
