Traveling question- stroller
OK- some lady on the street and I were discussing traveling with a baby and a stroller. I have the bugaboo and am leavnig for Cali this Friday. She said that her friend's stroller got destroyed in the plane. I am concerned because if soemthing happens to the stroller, there is no way that I am getting another bugaboo- but I really love it.
Do you think I should: a. Get travel insurance b. not take the bugaboo c. screw it- take the bugaboo. Nothing will happen.
And if anyone thinks I should get travel insurance, how do I do it? Thanks!

Re: Traveling question- stroller
I also have the Bugaboo but wouldn't suggest travelling with it. It costs way too much money for it to get bounced around and possibly broken. I have yet to travel on a plane however I do own another umbrella stroller (one that reclines enough) specifically for this reason.
If you choose to get the insurance just makes sure it will cover the cost of getting a new one.

Re: Traveling question- stroller
I travelled swith my bug and it was fine! No problem! I brought it to the gate and they took it from me. It came out at the gate, no problems! This trip I am taking it also....no point in spending more money for a stroller! If they break it, they have to pay for it!!!
Just do it...don't worry about it!
