Traveling to White Plains
I have an interview on Wednesday and although I would never turn down the opportunity for an interview I have been questioning whether I would take this job if I got it. I live in Sayville and the drive everyday to white plains would be an hour and twenty minutes each way no traffic. I would try to make it so that I didn't have to be at work until 10 to avoid most of the traffic. The job that I am interviewing for I am told is paying about $100,000 more than I am making right now plus a yearly bonus which could be as much as $30,000. Would you drive to white plains everyday for that much more money?

Re: Traveling to White Plains
I would very seriously consider it for that much more money. However - if the commute is considerably more than what it is now, and you have to put a lot more time into it, I would also consider how much it will affect your own time, for instance, you'll be making a TON more money, but will you be able to enjoy it? Will the commute stress you out every day, and make you exhausted all weekend? Just some things to consider.

I work in White Plains and I live in Mineola. I know that sayville if further east, but the commute really isn't that bad. If you have any questions about the commute, FM me!

Re: Traveling to White Plains
I absolutely would. I drive to White Plains every day for a job that doesn't pay much more than the bonus you mentioned, but I do it because I really love my job and my boss. For that much money it's a no-brainer.
The commute really isn't that bad. I find most fo the ride enjoyable
