Traveling with Bare Minerals makeup
Silly question, I know, but what do you do with BM makeup while traveling? How do you keep it from spilling all over the place? I'm worried that by the time we get to our destination it will be all over everything in my make-up bag (that powder is NOT fun or easy to clean up!)
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Traveling with Bare Minerals makeup
I tried scotch taping the sifter part of the jars on the BM and it works. but once the tape gets full of minerals, the glue won't stick anymore. so if you do that, i would recommend bringing a roll of scotch tape with you so that you can put fresh tape on the sifters for the way back home. it sounds rediculous, but it does work

Re: Traveling with Bare Minerals makeup
I was thinking of stuffing a tissue in the top part - maybe that would confine everything?
I like the tape idea as well! Maybe I'll combine the 2!

the minerals will go all over the tissue if you don't use the tape too. but it can't hurt to use both!

I use the tape too and then put it in a ziplock. Travels fine.

it's fine to travel - just make sure you tighten the top really well - and clean any residue that might be on the outer edges

I hear ya! I stopped wearing it because it was coating my bathroom in "fairly light". Great makeup but what a disaster!!!

Re: Traveling with Bare Minerals makeup
I travel with my BE in a little train case and it is perfect when I arrive.
For everyone that is having a problem with BE getting all over do you pull the entire sticker thing off the holes when you first open it? I only uncover 3 or 4 holes and then have to tap the foundation into the lid and in 4 years of wearing it have never had any spillage. I remember watching that in the video when I first got it and never had a problem. This way the entire lid does not fill up.

put a piece of saran wrap between the sifter and the cover
