Traveling with infant - questions
My daughter has a baby who's almost 4 mos. old. We're thinking of going to Fla. to visit my mom. This is her first great grandchild. She lives in a condo and has NOTHING baby related. What can we bring on the plane? I know we'll need her infant/car seat. We would like to bring the snapngo (if she's still in the infant seat when we go) Also, we'd need to bring the pack n play for her to sleep in. Can we bring all this? Do you have to buy a seat for the baby too or do you keep the baby on your lap?

Re: Traveling with infant - questions
We are leaving Sunday for Florida with our almost 3 year old to visit my father in law who is not able to travel. We did not buy a seat she will be on my lap. We are bringing her infant car seat and the snap n go and will gate check both of them so we have it for the airport. Also my father in law found a company thw rents all baby items by rhe day and delivers it where and when you need. So we got a porta crib and a bouncy seat. Father in law lives in Naples but if you google baby rentals I am sure you will find something near where you are going

Re: Traveling with infant - questions
Thank you. You said almost 3 yr. old? But you said infant seat and snap n go? Did you mean almost 3 mos. old? Anyway, thanks for the info! I will definitely look into it. Have a good time.

Re: Traveling with infant - questions
DS was 5 months when we flew...but I didn't bring the car seat or the pack and play. You don't need to pay for a seat because the baby is in your lap. I would guess you would need to check the car seat and pack and play. They sell car seat covers on onestepahead.com. They have a whole travel section.
