treats for easter egg hunt?

hi all..

my mother asked me for ideas to put into easter eggs for my 16 month old neice for an egg hunt...

we dont want candy..

i was thinking those fisher price little people or maybe graduate cereals...

but what else?? any ideas?? THANKS

FYI, unless you buy the huge jumbo ones, LP won't fit in them.

Hmmmm...that's a hard one. Puffs...cherios...goldfish...that's really all I can think of.

Money? Little rubber balls, all kinds of stuff from the Easter section at Walmart.

I would try money, rings, beaded necklaces.

i put stickers, tattoos, stampers, i found these little frogs that fit perfect inside the eggs from party city, last year for DD (she was 2)...
since DS will be participating in an egg hunt
this year, i was planning to put those gerber yogurt melts in the eggs since DS will be 16 months . both my kids eat those so it should work out well. DS likes raisins so i may do that too.

the little people would fit in a larger plastic egg i actually found big eggs at target in a set 6 of them...they each had a different little people or animal in the egg, i also bought the wow wow wubsy one. They also had sesame street ones. they were $10 for each set.
