We used poorman's tree service - I liked them and their prices were really good. One thing though - I wish I had been a bit more adamant that they take all of the mulch/wood shavings after they ran the tree into the chipper thing. They left a bunch of them and the landscaper had to take care of it.

They're located in Suffolk, but are licensed on Nassau & Suffolk.

I called all of the recommended ones on this site and JB's inexpensive tree removal was the cheapest by about half, they worked fast too

We just removed an enormous tree in our backyard 3 weeks ago and used Cheap Charlie's in Freeport. (I received the recommendation from this board). They quoted us less than half of what we expected to pay including grinding the stump down and clean up and did a great job.

my neighbors all use cheap charlies tree service, I dont have the number, sorry. but they are here every year to trim and cut and about 4 neighbors use them so I am assuming they are reasonable and seem to do good work.

We've used Cheap Charlies twice and they were great and we were happy with their work and their pricing. I don't have the # handy sorry.
