Tree Trimming
Any recommendations for a tree trimming place? We have a ton of trees that need to be trimmed.
We're in Suffolk.

We just had Priante Tree Service here the other day.
543-0104. Owner Dominick Sarabella.
They grinded a stump for us and cut 7 large limbs off of towering oak trees.
The owner is on site for every job. He is fully licensed and insured and is a certified arborist.

We used Jerry's tree service. Our property is very treed and has never been pruned. They did the whole property and left it cleaner than my landscapers!
Glen was the guy who gets up in the high trees. He's got to be part monkey!

Yes. He services Nassau and Suffolk. He does certain geograpahical areas on certain days of the week. I posted the Suffolk number.
He is located in Kings Park.

I would stay FAR FAR away from Prianti and Dominick. He came to my home and he was extremely rude and obnoxious. I threw him off my property and was on the verge of calling the cops. I ended up using a guy locally and he charged me less than 1/2 of what Prianti wanted and he did a great job. Shop around, this guy is a total crook!!!!!!

First, welcome to the board. I see this is only your third post.
I'm sorry you had such an unpleasant experience with him. I'm wondering what happened for such a transaction to take place
We actually did get 7 quotes for the job, we're very happy with his service and he had a very fair price for the amount of work we needed done. His crew, about 7 men, came the next day and were able to accomplish a lot of work in about a 1/2 an hour. They picked up every single bit of branch that fell... every leaf. They were very speedy, very professional and very polite.
Sorry you had such an "obnoxious" experience.

I was on LI weddings for a very long time. I'll admit I'm a lurker, but only because I'm looking for info and I usually don't have anything to add as I am a new homeowner myself. As I have experiences I plan to add to this board. I'm not there yet. To be honest, Dominick was so "obnoxious" that it has been over a year since he has been to my home and it still bothers me. I only added to the board to protect other people. I'm glad you had a good experience with him, but I did not, therefore I wanted to let people know. The purpose of this board is for feedback....I gave it.
By the way, I know other people who have told me that he is overpriced for his work.

We used Cheap Chariles. They took a huge pine tree down for us and trimmed a few of our others. I don't have their # sorry!
