Trees that grow at the curb-town's responsiblity?
Just curious- around the corner from me a huge tree fell into the street- blocking it completey. It was one of those tress that grows in the strip of grass between the side walk and the curb. Would that be the town's responsiblity to remove it or the homeowner's?
I'm assuming the town- since I feel like they plant those trees at the curb- but just curious

It may depend on the town but that is probably their responsibility. We had one about 4 feet from the edge of the road that came down in the March storm last year and Islip town took care of it.
