Tried the Shirataki Tofu Noodles HG recommends...
Any Hungry Girl follower knows about these tofu noodles that she always talks about. I finally found them in my supermarket and decided to try the alfredo recipe. I have to say I was really surprised that they were good. And 1 point for the entire recipe you cannot beat! My DH even ate this and had a second helping. It is worth a try!
Fettuccine Hungry Girlfredo!
(81 Calories, 3g Fat, 242mg Sodium, 9g Carbs, 4g Fiber, <1g Sugars, 4g Protein = 1 Point!!!)
Ingredients:
1 Package Tofu Shirataki Fettuccine Shaped Tofu Noodles 1/2 Wedge The Laughing Cow Light Cheese 1 teaspoon Fat Free Sour Cream 2 teaspoons Kraft Reduced Fat Parmesan Cheese Salt & Pepper to taste
Rinse fettuccine noodles VERY well. Microwave them for one minute, then drain them and pat dry. Add cheeses and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Microwave to help melt cheese further, and mix some more. Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy. Serves 1.
This Fettucine Hungry Girlfredo has just 80 calories per serving, and is only 1 point on Weight Watchers (if you're counting). This is the guilt-free recipe of the century!
I think I am going to get them again and try them with marinara sauce and turkey meat balls.
If you do try them let me know how you like it!

I used to eat these all of the time since they are low carb. I was only able to find them at fairway. Where did you find them?

I had tried this recipe and I'll be honest I couldn't stomach the noodles. DH loved it and he ate it all, but even though I washed it the noodles had this funky smell that was making me

Just an FYI-saw these noodles at Shoprite. They were in the produce section by the refrigerated dressing and dips.

Yeah I washed and patted dry like 3 times. It still did have a semi weird smell.

I like them sauteed w/ veggies - stir fry and add the noodles last. I made a thai peanut sauce and made it spicy.
