Trigger tonight, IUI Wednesday?
So Dina from LIIVF called me today with my directions -- they want me to trigger tonight with my Ovidrel between 9pm-10pm but my IUI procedure isn't scheduled until Wednesday AM. Has anyone experienced this? I always thought you triggered and then had the IUI the very next morning. Thanks, ladies!

usually the time frame is around 24-36 hours.

No, that's perfect. The trigger shot causes you to O 36 hours later. Some places will have you trigger in the morning and do your IUI 24 hours later (so the sperm are sitting in your uterus waiting when you O later in the day); some try to time O and IUI for the around the same hour. Both methods have success. Good luck Wednesday!

Trigger tonight, IUI Wednesday?
My old re did it within 24 hrs. Never worked. Iui's with a day in between worked for me. Li Ivf is the best!! Good luck!

IUI is most effective at about 36 hours post trigger.
