TRIGGERING TONIGHT!!!!
OMG!
Well, we stimmed for 7 days and at my sono this morning - things looked great. I have 13 follies - 8 on the left 5 on the right. I can't remember all the numbers, but the left side is running away with it!! There are at least 3 on that side measuring 20 or above - everything else is approaching 20. On the right, the biggest is 17 and the smallest is 9.
Just got the call that I trigger tonight at 9:45...I cannot believe it. I am scared to death, a nervous wreck and excited at the same time!!!
Any advice to make this shot easier on me and DH would be soooo appreciated!!!

Wow, that is so exciting. I guess you are doing IM shot hCG. Can't give any advice b/c I used Ovidrell every time I triggered.
Good luck at ER. Your follie counts sound great. Wishing you lots of fertilization and healthy embryos!!!!!

It is really just a sharp pinch. I was so concerned with doing it at the exact right time that I didnt have time to freak about it. The HCG is so exciting!!!
I have an island in my kitchen, what I would do is plug the heating pad in, get the syringe ready, bend over the counter, turn my foot inward and bend my knee on the side I was going to get the shot (it relaxes the muscle). Id hug a pillow and just let DH do his thing. Then I put the heating pad on and really I didnt mind them at all!
