Trimming nails yourself....
Boomer lets me cut his nails....but I don't do it regularly and now his back dew claws have curled so badly that I can't get the trimmer in to cut them.....
I am a bad doggy mommy.....now I have to take him to the vet for them to do it

we do louie's nails oursleves.....good puppy!!...we wait until he tires himself out for the night, then move in.....he sometimes fights us a little but we think he knows its for his own good b/c then he just lays there while i kiss his head and hold his paw and dh cuts his nails!

I do the cat and dog myself...Misty used to fight it, but I've been doing her nails once a week for the last couple of months and now she holds still.
