Trip idea (have to drive not fly)
Well my dh and I will be married 5 years next February our anniversary always falls during school break so it is way too expensive to fly so we are looking for something romantic/fun to do any ideas.. we are just starting to think about it.

How long are you looking to go for?
How about the spa & hotel in Hershey, PA?

If too expensive to fly that time of year is your only reason for not flying, then go somewhere that Southwest goes to - it is cheaper in general and gets cheaper with credit (and planning ahead works in your favor too). We are flying to Orlando during spring break for $89 each way.
Otherwise, I would suggest Hartford or maybe Boston
