True Blood 7-18 *No book spoilers please :)
"Do not tip your waitress"
I don't love the idea of Tara becoming a vampire, I hope she gets out of it.
What kind of hold does Joe Lee have on Tommy? For a little while, I thought he was sexually abusing him, but that doesn't seem likely anymore.
I thought the flirtation between Lafayette and Jesus was cute- have you ever seen Lafayatte at a loss for words? DH thought it was stalkerish that Jesus waited 9 hours for Lafayette to finish his shift.
Not really entertained by Arlene and Terry moving in together. Or Jason goofing off in the police station. It's kind of hard to believe anyone could be that ditzy.
I was waiting for Sookie's hand zap power to come out again! I wonder what will come of that- even Bill looked surprised.

I wondered about Joe Lee too! I really like Tommy, I hope he gets his act together.
Loving Lafayette and Jesus but b/c of this damn show - I'm thinking Jesus must have some sort of ulterior motive.
I'm 50/50 on the Tara becoming a vampire bit. She really doesn't have much going for her anyway. I don't see what would be so bad about it - except she'll probably end up as crazy as Franklin.

Re: True Blood 7-18
I'm curious about Sam's family dynamic too. I was happy to see them bonding over nature shows and then the father had to come in and ruin it. Maybe they really aren't his parents? And the only true blood relation is Tommy? The first thing I thought of was some kind of arrangement, that he was indebted to them somehow.
Now I'm wondering what the deal is with Jason's newest fling... Apparently, there are no normal people in that town so she's got to be some kind of wackadoo.
At first I was happy Sookie did the hand zap thing... Now I'm thinking it was really friggin stupid to do that in front of the king.
Oh and I think Eric looks very good in tight lavender v-neck sweaters.

I just can't get enough of this show! I love it and crave it!!
Jason cracks me up and there def. is something strange with Crystal.
I really don't understand why Tara just can't catch a break. I'm not too crazy about the idea of her becoming a vamp.
Jessica cracks me up! I am pretty sure they are going to have her and Tommy get together.
Sam and Tommy's parents are whacked out of their minds. I also thought maybe there was some sexual abuse going on with Joe Lee and Tommy. I really hope that Sam and Tommy continue to bond and become closer and the parents get phased out.
And all I have to say is I Alcide! An Alcide/Eric sandwich would be just delicious! lolol

I'm with you guys! I also thought Bill looked good last night in his track suit jacket! I like him being stylish!
I found the Tara/Franklin thing to be very entertaining. The way he was crying and carrying on when she tried to leave was so funny to me. Especially with her in that ridiculous nightgown.
I was trying to remember the whole Erik/Lorena thing. They met when everyone was in Texas trying to find Godfried right? Did anything happen between them? I couldn't remember.
I also agree with a PP that Jesus has some ulterior motive but this show makes me paranoid like that.

Re: True Blood 7-18
This show is so freaking great!
I'm DYING to understand what's up with the dossier that Bill had on Sookie since she was a child....and what he really needed it for. Was he only supposed to "procure her" for the Queen for another reason, and then fell in love?
Eric is so damn fiiiiiiiiine.
Franklin is INSANE with his obsession with Tara. Craaaazzyyyyyy

Re: True Blood 7-18
This season is awesome!!
I wonder what's with that girl with Jason. Definitely weird.
I can't wait to see what unfolds with Sam's family. I just don't trust them.
Eric and Alcide are both ridiculously hot. How are they going to get out of this mess with Russell???
Franklin is psycho. I am dying to see if he turns Tara.
This show gets better and better each week

Re: True Blood 7-18
I just finished watching last nights episode.
HOLY HOTNESS!! Between Eric and Alcide - I am IN HEAVEN! I was drooling.. and rewinding on my dvr.
I think Tara will get out of being a Vamp. Tommy and Sam's parents are a train wreck. I thought of sexual abuse too.
Crystal is some kind of set up or weirdo. I just can't see her crying every time Jason sees her. I think she is a 'ghost' of some sorts.. and he will find out more about her in his police job.
Jessica is too funny with the "do not tip your waitress". The move in situation is boring IMO.
Lafeyette and Jesus flirting was adorable. I thought his mom was dead at first also.
I am wondering what is this bond / deal with the Vamp king and the Werewolves. It is throwing me off- Then Alcide sees his pack leader who Sookie finds out is scared?!?!? Not sure where they are heading with this.
I AM SOOOOO HOOKED on the show.

Re: True Blood 7-18
GREAT episode.
One question, since I was making lunch while watching it LOL I "heard" that girl crying - but how did Jason see it? Is he remembering it from the past OR is he having some kind of vision?

Jason was in Hotshot (her neighborhood) and saw her standing in the woods crying.

Re: True Blood 7-18
If Ball is following the books (which he seems to be doing more so this season), Krystal is definitely a weird breed
eta: I had read they were giving Lafayette a love interest this season...so hopefully Jesus won't turn out to be some creep.
I'm assuming the dossier on Sookie is going to tie in the Fairies (book reference) at some point.

Would it be possible for you to edit out those book spoilers? We try to keep them out of these threads because a lot of us haven't read the books.

I third this.......
I def think Sam's dad is abusing Tommy. Whether sexually or emotionally- there is some sort of power there.
I'm not really sure about Crystal BUT I think it may have something to do with her family background and what we will find out about the Stackhouse background?
Also did anyone make the connection between the crown Eric found and the king? I think he is going to have his "vengeance" before the season is over.
Franklin is a headcase! And Bill was definitely sent to Bon Temps originally for Sookie- I do think his love for her is genuine though. I wonder what will happen this week!!!
We were away this week so I just watched it last night- I am happy I only have 2 more days till I can watch again! I LOVE THIS SHOW!

I forgot about that! The guy in the hooded cloak definitely sounded like Russell, his voice is pretty unique. I wonder if Russell even remembers that Eric came from that royal family, or they were just a few deaths over the centuries?

I finally watched last night and that was def Russell. I don't think he does remember since Eric wasn't a vampire yet.
Between Eric and Alcide I may have a cardiac arrest

Soooo many hotties on the show... even Talbot is gorgeous.
I did read all the books but the show is so off the mark from the show, it probably doesnt matter anyway. But I wont mention anything from the books.
I was thinking that maybe Jesus found out Layfayette's mother has money?? Or he really may be genuine but what fun will that be?
Next week's show looks awesome! I look forward to Sundays sooo much.
