I have a feeling a lot of women are very sheltered from how men Speak to one another when there aren't any women around.
I am not shocked by this kind of talk. Especially By a rich man who probably had his share of women because of who he is.
If he wasn't running for office, nobody would even be talking about this in this way.
This was a private conversation between two horn dogs. More men talk like this then don't. This wasn't recorded yesterday but a long time ago when he was just a rich old man.
I'm not It defending him and what was said - its not the nicest stuff to hear. But ... this is how men/guys/guidos - whatever you want to call it... this is how they talk when it's just guys.
What do you think men talk about on bachelor parties to strip joints? Stocks? How wonderful their wives are?
They objectivity the women that are rubbing their bodies on each other, they talk about what they would do with them and most of the time go to the back room to do it.

Bully Tactics that would be Trump that man is a bully to women. I don't consider myself sheltered. I'm well aware of what men say. In case you missed it Trump said he did this. BIG DIFFERENCE!
I do think voting for this man after knowing he sexually assaulted a woman is wrong, and women and men of both parties should call for his resignation as the nominee. He is a PIG!!!! All women should be OUTRAGED!

I believe the assault was mentioned because there is currently a lawsuit filed against him for sexual assault/statutory rape. The allegations are even more plausible now after these comments came to light.

One example of sexual assault allegations. There are others. I didn't make anything up. Multiple women have accused him of improper sexual behavior.

For the record, I just had a friend who was a staunch Trump supporter, who would defend him to the death, write than she has now changed her mind. In light of this, and as a mother to a daughter, she cannot vote for him any longer and will be voting 3rd party.

No one said he assaulted anyone at the time of these comments but the fact that he made those comments makes it HIGHLY likely that the claims of sexual Assad made against Trump are true. And yes, if he wasn't running to be PRESIDENT and was stir just a loud mouth reality TV "star" his words would be troublesome but he would not be looking to be the most influential person in the world and someone who is supposed to be the the ultimate protector of human rights for ALL Americans
And as if what he said is t bad enough, he said it about 8 months after marrying Melania - just makes it so extra special

Allowing men, and ESPECIALLY men in positions of power, to get away with speaking and acting like this because it's "how men are" (I feel very sorry for any woman who has men in her life who are like this) is the reason we have the Brock Turners of the world. Young boys and men are and will continue to grow up thinking they can say and do whatever they want to and about women and women's bodies if we brush this language and behavior off as meh.

 If our country votes this PIG into office we are saying to men that this behavior is ok. We are saying to our daughters that its ok for men to talk this way, for men of power to act this way because well they are men. Come on America in 2016 we should know and do better!!!!!

Allowing men, and ESPECIALLY men in positions of power, to get away with speaking and acting like this because it's "how men are" (I feel very sorry for any woman who has men in her life who are like this) is the reason we have the Brock Turners of the world. I don't really understand your response. If you're fine with it that's great. If you find that obnoxious that's also fine. Your opinion of my opinion has no bearing on me. But please. Your schooling has absolutely nothing to do with Me and my response to the latest trump Fiasco. I gave my opinion and you're disagreeing with it.

But, how is he any worse than Clinton, or even JFK for that matter?
Maybe he isn't, though I didn't live here when Clinton was president. But Donald is running for president RIGHT NOW, and the world has evolved and changed, and RIGHT NOW we can do something about this man.
Just because something was accepted before now doesn't mean we have to continue to accept it.

You're more than entitled to your opinion. But rape culture isn't something that is opinion based. It's something with a definition. And what has come to light today is BY DEFINITION an example of rape culture. My schooling is important because it allows me to speak with some authority on the matter.

It's truly impossible to have a different view then the masses.
You can say whatever you want, but I think your view that this type of talk is ok is shocking to most people and especially women (if it wasn't shocking , it wouldn't be all over the news). And even if this type of talk is "just guy talk", our president should always be held to a higher standard. Look at how many prominent republicans have declared they will not support Trump and even more bailed today after this became public. Very few people on any side of the political spectrum see what he said as anywhere near acceptable or "normal"
And there is a major difference between what you, a private citizen say and what a PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE says in a completely demeaning and derogatory manner

I don't condone what he said
But I totally see what Phyllis is saying.
I've heard similar talk from men and woman
And if you scroll down the celeb board you would find some things that nobody is batting a eye at
And before the claws come out and teach me a lesson and send me links and rip me a new one
I'm not defending. I know what rape culture is.
I'm saying he is a pig. But he always has been.
I'm more surprised that people are surprised that he has said things like this

it may not be, but we didn't know this UP FRONT, going in to it. Now that we KNOW, we have a responsibility to stand up against it. The difference is WE KNOW beforehand. And bc other men have done it, does NOT make it OK.
