trying SO hard not to put so much pressure on this month
I know this is the worst thing to do to myself, but I'm pulling SO hard for this to be our month.
Most of our friends and family are teachers and have off in the summer months. With us living in NC, I know we'll need support down here right after we have a baby, so we really wanted to "time" it so that I would be due in the summer so that friends and family would be off to come stay with us for a few weeks. In order for that to happen, I would pretty much NEED this to be our month.
Also, since we live far away, we only go home to NY every so often. We'll be home for Christmas in December. We're praying this is our month -- it would be really special to be home in NY and have baby news to share with our family in person.
I know its bad to put so much pressure on one particular month, but its hard not to when it seems like the timing is perfect. But I'm worried that if it doesnt happen for us this month, Its going to be VERY hard to get over....
Ughhh...why is TTC such as pain in the you-know-what It messes with our heads

I'm hoping for you, but like Deanna said... don't get your hopes pinned on a certain month. I am a teacher as well and wanted more than anything to have an April baby and take the rest of the year off, have the summer off and go back in September. Here I am 5 cycles later still not pregnant.
Here's some for you and a that you have good news this month.

Re: trying SO hard not to put so much pressure on this month
I know how you are feeling right now, but please don't do this to yourself!
We did the same thing last year.. we HAD to be pregnant by November so we could tell our families for Christmas (OOS also) and so we could have off for the summer and return to work in September.
Unfortunately, that did not work for us. As you can see, we're now in that same place.. just one year later. And although it would be absoulutely wonderful to get pregnant this month - if don't... we know it will work out anyway. Having a baby can't always be convenient and when you put so much pressure on yourself, the let down (if it comes) is that much greater.
Stay positive... but try keep that in mind

Re: trying SO hard not to put so much pressure on this month
i have to echo what the other girls are saying...
putting certain 'date pressure' on yourself can be so painful....
we wanted to badly to be pregnant by our friends' wedding in June - wanted soooooooooooooooo badly to be able to share with them (as it was a destination wedding, we would've told them on our last day there - as we were there for 5 days)...
that time came and went and on that last day - even Dave admitted to being a little sad....(to make matters worse, while we were away - AF showed)...
