Trying to remain positive. . .
RE just called. Of the 5 embies that they left in the dish...none made it to freeze. Now I am totally going into a funk...what about the two that were transfered? Does that mean they're bad too? I was doing so well this time around saying what will be will be but now I feel like I'm back to square one...sitting here dreading next week for the BFN news. Yeah...I know...it only takes one...but still.....none to freeze....

Re: Trying to remain positive. . .
it's so disappointing to not have any to freeze. My first IVF cycle, we had nothing either. Just because those didn't make it to freeze, doesn't mean the ones they transferred back are not good. Remember, your uterus is the optimal enviroment for the embryo's.

I feel your pain....it seems like no matter how many embies I get, there aren't any that are viable. It's so depressing.

This is very true. Plus they choose the best ones to implant.

Re: Trying to remain positive. . .
Not only do they chose the best to put back but, some RE's believe that the uterus is the best place for the embies to grow. Not the dish. That's why some don't do 5 day transfers at all. Your embies that were transfered are probably loving being all nice and warm in your uterus. Try not to worry too much.
My clinic didn't wait the 5 days to freeze my extra embryo. They froze it on day three when I had my transfer.

Same thing just happened to my friend on FF. Guess what? She's just gotten her BFP yesterday 12dpo. Hang in there, don't worry about those. Keep positive!!!!! They always do better in the womb than out also.

Re: Trying to remain positive. . .
Stay positive as best you can.
Listen it DOES only take one.
I had 5, 2 implanted( neither that great) , and 3 froze but the 3 frozen ones are crap and They dont know if they would survive thaw or work.
I got PG on that IVF cycle.
It can happen.
Karacg is another example. Her embies were not the best that were transfered and she had a + outcome.
what can happen is amazing.
I know Its dissapointing. I remember being so jealous of those who got more embies, but just try to stay positive till the end.
