Trying to remember an Italian movie
Anybody familiar with Italian movies? I am trying to remember the name of a movie that seemed to revolve around families passing an elephant statue through the generations.
I remember a little child's voice saying "L'elefante! L'elefante!"
Anybody?

Re: Trying to remember an Italian movie
Okay, what about the one where the little boys go visit a tobacco shop and the woman working there, pulls one side of her wrap sweater away and shoves his face on her boob!
My Italian prof in college had us watch some interesting movies and I can't remember any of the names.
Maybe I should Google the prof and see where she is and e-mail her.

Re: Trying to remember an Italian movie
Can't help you with those movies, but had to add that I used to love Italian movies when I was younger and used to love "Everything is Fine" - It was in Italian ( I forget the Italian title) and sub-titled in English.
Ever see it?

Re: Trying to remember an Italian movie
Trying to search. We never saw any Italian movies in Italian class.
Can it be:
Cabiria (1914) or 'Quo Vadis?'

Hmm, I wonder if that was that movie. It had a scene with a whole bunch of teenage boys taking care of "business" in a car.
