Trying to stay positive, so I will post some good news
I've had a very stressful few weeks and then came down with strep throat again this week. So, in my attempt to stay positive:
DS' one year old bloodwork came back normal. The ped. knows that my DH and his brother both have juvemile diabetes and that if DS gets it, we want to catch it very early. When the assistant left the voicemail to tell us that the results were all normal, she specifically mentioned that he had a perfectly normal glucose test result. I thought it was sweet of her to mention the test we are concerned about. That is not part of the usual first year tests but the doctor added it.
Ok, I must be able to think of one more positive thing. Well, Oscar's groomer is in love with him. Thnk she wants to keep him? Just kidding but she does come running out to give him a hug and a kiss when he shows up.
I went to AC Moore for some scrapbook stuff last night. They play music in the store and DS was dancing/bopping in the shopping cart seat. Love him!!!!
One of my best friends is getting married this weekend!
Ok, I have lifted my own spirits. Trust me, Ms. Strep Throat Breath over here was not thinking positive before this post.
ETA: On a not as positive note, but a funny one, I had a dream that Oscar, my dog, invited a St. Bernard over for a playdate and the St. Bernard ate one of the pills from my antibiotics for the strep. He was really cute, though!!!! Maybe I should convert my dreams into children's books.

I would definitely put your dogs in the books . So, my DH just asked me if the St. Bernard was okay. I am pretty sure he was because he spit most of the pill out. I guess that part of the dream was a little funny. Dogs do not want to take disgusting medications.
Well, in the mirror, my throat finally looks a little better. I am definitely one of those people who examines my throat it hurts .
