TTC?Childcare & Career
My husband wants a baby now. We have been together since we were 16 years old we both have no children. We got married after 10 years of dating and he is 29 and I am 28 years old. He wants a baby before his 30th birthday. I promise him before he turn 30th we will work on TTC. I am also afraid about child care. My parents are going to be moving as well as my inlaws. Child care is very expensive and I wouldn't trust anybody with my child. We are both still working on our careers. I don't know what to do?

Re: TTC?Childcare & Career
Wow this is our story to a tee except its been 11 years. I was going through the same thoughts about $$, nany and all that stuff, but I think my DH put it best and said if our parents did it we could do it. everyone makes due when they need to and I guess we will do the same. Scared out of my mind but there may never be a right time. I do feel the same about someone else taking care of our child but it many situations Ive seen people do it, it just requires much more love and care when your with them one on one. I guess owrking to support us all in the long run can provide better opportunities for our children

Re: TTC?Childcare & Career
That was us, exept, he promised me before I turned 30.
I live 2 hours away from both of our parents and family, the only family here is my bro and his wife whom both work.
I don't want to leave my DD in daycare, but for my sanity, and $$$, I have too. It will break my heart when I have to go back on the 18th of Sept, but I am giving my dd a gift, teaching her woman can work, have kids and get ahead in life, and socialization. Plus daycare centers potty train!
I found a center that was perfect and that I am 100% comfy with. The teachers will only be strangers for a short time, then I am sure they will be like a 2nd family to me and DD.
