TTCer crashing! How many months did it take to get your BFP after stopping BCPs?
If you don't mind sharing. I'm just curious. It's been 4 cycles for us so far and I'm already getting kind of impatient. I've heard it's normal for it to take up to a year, but I'm just wondering what most people's experiences have been, escpecially if you were on BCPs before trying. Thanks!

When I was on BC pills, it wasn't too long after, definitely not a year. I did have issues with my cycle not being too regular after stopping the pills.
I had the Mirena for 4.5 years and got pregnant less than 3 cycles later!

With DS I got pregnant the 1st month off of BCP.

It took us 2 months. I thought it would take much longer because I was on the pill for 8 years and then the birth control patch for another 3 years.

It took us 6 months the first time and it happened in the first month of BC the second time!

When I first went off we weren't actively TTC. It was more like let's see what happens for about 5 months. Then 6 months of TTC.

It took a year but, I was not ovulating and had to go through a couple of cycles of Clomid.

Got pregnant the first month off bcp with DS. We weren't trying though, I had to go off because my insurance stopped covering them because they weren't generic but I couldn't go on something else because it was the only pill that worked with my hormone issues. We just weren't as careful as we should have been but oh well, we have an amazing DS because of it!

I went off BCP in august but we were using other methods for a few months (I planned on going off about 3 months prior to TTC). December was our first cycle trying and BFP....
