I hate them, haven't used them in YEARS!!! I always just check the tub before I head in and I'm super careful getting out.

I hate tubs mats. I always found that when I took it out and went to clean it, there would always be a hard to remove film on my tub.

I didnt know that about the new tubs....we just had our bathroom redone and I was grumbling about the new tubmat not sticking. I am nervous without a tubmat because of my kids, esp my 2 year old who has no comprehension that bathtubs can be dangerous.

Don't have one for the adults but we have one we got for Jesse. We only use it when he's taking a bath and remove it as soon as he's done.

No, I just bought my tub and it came with the anti-skid. I honestly don't like bath mats - they seem like germ collectors.

yes, standing in a bare bathtub skeeves me out for some reason. I know its totally strange but i can't explain why.

Yes b/c the tub in our apt. is slippery otherwise.
I scrub it down when I clean the tub, and when it gets too gross, I just buy a new one.

Yeah I do NOT like them. My tubs are slippery, so DH are VERY careful.
However, my 98 year old granpa is coming to stay with us next month, so I think i will get one for him, I DO NOT want him to fall!

We tried those clear strips from BBB, but they peeled off after a few months. We didn't have a tub mat until I fell while shaving my legs.

thats what we do - I actually use the suction cups to hang it to the wall after DSs bath. The times when I haven't put it in his litle bum slides all over the place and he ends up swallowing water, so it is necessary.
