Tumbling classes?
DS's OT recommended this. Is tumbling the same as gymnastics or different? I am in Merrick. Can you recommend a place close to me?

Little gym in Merrick has some classes, i never went there but people i know have and were very pleased with it.
my DD goes to twisters in westbury. I love it the teacher is great and my DD enjoys it so much.

I can not say enough great things about the gymnastics program (they call it tumbling) at the Rockville Centre REC Center. It's so inexpensive as well.
My dd also gets OT and out of all the therapies my dd has, "gymnastics" has been the most beneficial. She easily imitates gross motor skills there. The class is run so well.
I believe tuition is about $175 for 12 weeks. FM me if you want the schedule for the winter etc. They have a variety of days/times to choose from

DS is in a gym class that has tumbling. They do forward rolls, stretches, hanging from bars, etc. I think it's good for the little kiddies.
I know that Little Gym has a location in Merrick. I've never been though.
