Turkey Bacon...

Does anyone know if it's a no-no? I tried doing some research on it and couldn't find anything.

I hope not -- I'm eating it likes it's going out of style Chat Icon

I think as long as it's cooked well, there wouldn't be anything that could be wrong with it. Chat Icon

Re: Turkey Bacon...

Check the sodium. Just saw on Oprah today that regular bacon is better than turkey as they both have the same calories and fat however turkey bacon has higher sodium.

Any bacon should be in moderation but especially being PG, watch the sodium.

i was just going to say this - interesting bit on oprah, apparently you're better off with the regular bacon sodium-wise.

if you prefer turkey to regular bacon, i say eat it in moderation - but turkey bacon isn't necessarily healthier.

Re: Turkey Bacon...

I don't eat any pork, so it's turkey bacon for me. I've really been watching my intake of it though since being pregnant because it does have alot of sodium in it.

It's fine to eat, but just be weary of the sodium intake.
