Turkey Chili Receipe?
Does anyone have one? I want to try making it on Sunday...

i've made THIS ONE from rachel ray with ground turkey before... comes out really good and its quick. i usually use just one pound of meat, so i guess you would just halve all the other ingredients. its in her first "30 minute meals" cookbook. and the alcohol in the beer cooks out, in case you're worried about that... i usually serve this over some elbow macaroni noodles- yum!!!

I make the Sandra Lee Caribbean turkey chili with sweet potatoes and mango nectar. I like its because its more sweet than spicy

Turkey Pumpkin Chili
INGREDIENTS: 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 1/2 cup chopped yellow bell pepper 1 clove garlic, minced 1 pound ground turkey 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes 2 cups pumpkin puree 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 dash salt 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup sour cream
DIRECTIONS: 1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, and saute the onion, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and garlic until tender. Stir in the turkey, and cook until evenly brown. Drain, and mix in tomatoes and pumpkin. Season with chili powder, pepper, and salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes. Serve topped with Cheddar cheese and sour cream.

This one looks really good too!! I can just leave out the pumpkin part I'm sure...

Leave the pumpkin in, it doesn't taste pumpkiny and makes the chili actually very smooth.
Everyone I have made it for loves it and doesn't say a word about the pumpkin.
