Turning my Birth Announcements into Christmas cards - Good Idea or keep it seperate?

Christmas is right around the corner and I figured instead of sending out birth announcements I would just send out a holiday picture card of him with all of his information.

Do you think I should keep it seperate or is this a good idea.

I also need to find someone to come to my home for the pictures. If you have any recommendations please send them my way!

I think it's a great idea. I bookmarked a bunch of announcement/holiday combo cards. If you want me to send them to you, fm me.

My son was born on November 15 and I combined his birth announcement and holiday card.

I don't remember exactly what it said, but something like "small packages are the best gifts"

My plan was to do the same thing. I am having a lot of trouble finding a card layout that has enough room for all the info and a Happy Holidays wish. I think it is going to be harder than I thought.
Good Luck with yours.

We did ours together - I sent out over 100, I didn't want to send 100 announcements, then a week later another 100 cards.

I'm planning on doing this too but trying to figure out how to get some good pics since I cant bring him for prof pics yet. Having someone come to your home isnt a bad idea but I imagine it's pretty expensive, right?
