Crashing from Pregnancy board.
My lo is coming in July. I will be home for 12 weeks. When i go back to work i will need a part time day care 2days a week.
I visited tutor time and felt comfortable with the price, teacher, atmosphere.

Does ayone use TT in Holbrook that can ive me some reviews or have any recs for other day care's near by, either facilities, certified home day care or someone who comes to the house?

TIA

Re: Tutor Time-Holbrook

I use them and LOVE LOVE LOVE them
I can not say enough about the care my DD receives there.
She started there at just 8 weeks old and is now 18 months old.
The teachers, the staff, everything - is top notch.

I never once worry about her when she is there- I know they are on top of everything.

FM if you need any more details!

I would definitely check out Tender Years in Bohemia. It's off Vets highway.

The place is spotless, clean and newly renovated. The Director is WONDERFUL and your child will be in the one of the safest, loving environments. http://www.tenderyearsinc.com/#!philosophy

My sisters sister in law owns a daycare in holbrook called Bright Beginings. Her name is Shannon. The daycare is a house that has been made into a daycare only. I may be sending my dd there in september part time

I've heard the Infant Center at Kiddie Kampus in Bayport (on Mtnauk Hwy) is excellent. Very clean and someone is always holding or engaged with the babies.

ETA: The people who own it have been in business for over 30 years.

I agree! DS & I both love them & have recommended several people to them.

I will say here & I think most daycares is that even though you only want part time you will have to pay for full time due to infants are unable to share cribs.

I was worried about this too (needing to do a full time for only 2 or 3 days per week) but I actually called Kiddie Kampus in Bayport and they said you can do 2 or 3 days with an infant without paying for 5 days. I'm pretty sure at TT you can do that too.

We did 2 days a week at Tutor Time in Holbrook from 8 weeks old- there was never an issue with crib sharing or part time for infants.
In fact we rotated days- some weeks we did 2 days a week, some weeks we did 3 days a week- and it was never the same days each week
They never had an issue with it.
It really depends on the place.
