TV mounted on the wall
DH and I would like to mount our flat screen TV on the wall, but we are having trouble finding a piece of furniture to put under it. What do you have?

We just mounted our plasma this weekend. Of course, we have a swivel bracket bc there is no wall in viewing distance of the TV 
Anyway, we looked every place imaginable yesterday & finally ordered this piece from Fortunoff's! It will be delivered in September

I placed the cable box and dvd in the basement and used a IR Remitter, you can also put your equiptment in a closet.
In my opinion it is much a cleaner installation.

This website sells just about every TV cabinet you can think of. You can search here, find what you like and go the manufactures site to see what stores carry them. Or, buy them online.

They also sell salamander cabinets at BestBuy, Magnolia Theaters. Any of these type cabinets allow for the TV to sit on top or be mounted on the wall just above.
The brackets for mounting on the wall are sold at Best Buy and the other major stores. Sanus is one of the more popular brands, sanus.com. Click the link on the right side of the page to search for your TV model to locate the correct mount.

We have an antique credenza that used to be Rich's grandmother's. Cable/DVR box, DVD player, and surround sound are all hidden by sliding wood doors.
I'll post pics in about 3 weeks when all is said and done
