Twin mattress..(and my dilema)
What does an avg one run?
We ordered RJ a twin bed today, but we still need to order the mattress.
The place we ordered the bed from offered us a gold bond twin for $180- not sure if thats the going rate or not...
I didnt get his dresser and stuff yet because in the event we decide to have #2- they will be sharing a room until we move; and the bedroom will not have enough space for the nursery furniture plus his set.
Problem is his new bed is a different color wood then the nursery and its already driving me crazy... please tell me its not a big deal...
ETA- I dont need a box spring, because since the bed is a captains bed style it has the slots (or something like that)

Re: Twin mattress..(and my dilema)
I don't remember what we paid for Amanda's but we got it at a mattress outelt in the belloport outlet. (not positive if it;s still there but it was on the south side of sunrise highway) It is the outlet store for the kids furntiture store on 112 in Patchogue. I kthink we paid just under $200 with delivery for her mattress and boxspring.

Re: Twin mattress..(and my dilema)
I bought Nicholas' twin mattress from Sam's Club or BJ's, I forget which one. They have inexpensive mattresses. I believe they are Sealy brand.

Re: Twin mattress..(and my dilema)
For a decent but not expensive mattress, I think about $200 is about average. I just bought mattresses for my boys' bunk beds and I couldn't get anything too deep, I needed 9" or less. I look in quite a few places and anything that was below that price was basically kind of junky. This is for mattress only.

Re: Twin mattress..(and my dilema)
I just spent $240 on a pillowtop for Ali.
We bought it at the Sleepys clearance store in Riverhead
