Twin Mommies: When did you stop working?
Twin Mommies: What week?
I'd especially like to know from teachers.
Thank God I'm a bit older and have 116 sick days accumulated.
I need to talk to my asst. supt. soon and need to have a plan.

I dint have twins and I was put on bed rest 6 weeks before my dute date however I think most people with twins stop working at 24 weeks.

The timing went well in my case... I stopped officially at about 24 weeks (because it was summer) but I had been put on admin duty @ 22 weeks because the school had 5th disease outbreak. I'm sure your DR willl give you a good idea when it's time to slow down.

I was told to stop working at 34 weeks. I wound up working 1/2 days for that week to finish things up and get stuff in order and stopped at 35 weeks. I had the boys at35.5 weeks.
Unless you are going into preterm labor there is no need to go out of work at 20 weeks.
They wanted me to stop wokring becuase my fluid level was low, and the Dr thought it was unsafge for me to be driving since my belly was so big he thought it would get in the way of steering, but I actually felt fine, just very tired.

I was told to NOT work summer school, but i did
i stopped at 36 weeks...and was induced the follwing week

I was told at 25 weeks to stop working and put my feet up by 8pm... If you start to feel very uncomfortable i would stop working because thats your body telling you to slow down.

I was told to stop at 19 weeks, but still worked summer school. However, I stopped using the stairs and sat down A LOT. Did not walk around.
I then worked until 31 weeks. My doctor was afraid I was going to go into pre-term labor.
Nothing was wrong, my cervix was fine, blood pressure was normal... Just a pre-caution I guess.

I stopped at 33 weeks. I just could not walk that far anymore.
