Twin-specific organized activities

My sister-in-law (she has 21 month old boys) and I were discussing how difficult it is to take both of your babies to "classes" or Gymboree-type activities by oneself. Do any of the BTDT moms have any advice or ideas of where they might have classes like this - where you wouldn't be the only ones there with two babies?

I often wondered this too. I have to go to a birthday party on Thursday with my 2, and my DH who is home needs me to take off of work so that I can be there too, since there will be noone to help him. Normally he would be fine, but at a party with older kids, we need to really be one on one with them.

I once wanted to do something at the library and couldn't becuase you needed one parent for one child.

I've wondered this myself. I have yet to venture anything.

I know my Mommy and Me, there are twins and one group of triplets. They are fine with Mommy coming alone with the 2 and then one of the teachers, when the kids are comfortable will step in and help out if the need be (sitting on the lap, carrying, manipulating certain toys).

I would call around and let them know the situation and see if they are willing to help. Some are, I know not a lot (which I think is unfair).
