Mine was Dixie.. no clue why.. I always thought of Dixie Cup-- cause of my D cups.. Although one of my pledgemom's friends said that she always thought the supermarket Winndixie was a funny name-- so, it might of come from there. After I pledged- I realized some pledge names had no meaning-- other's were downright MEAN!

I remember one time we were hazed . I was crying like a baby and the the pledge next to me, was whispering "stop crying .. stop now." We had to count stupid confetti while getting screamed at by the sistas.

We got our pledge names during a blind folded line up... all part of the pledging, cough cough hazing, process.. Part of the ritual if you will.. I don't know anyone who didn't have them..

me too. I tell everyone. Not a secret to me.
We were blindfolded and the sisters would talk to us and we had to guess who each one was.
