Two-handle stroller question...
Did anyone consider the 2 handles (like most Peg Peregos) vs 1 long bar (like a CityMini) when shopping for a stroller? Does it make it much more difficult to maneuver when you have to multi-task or can you push it relatively straight with only one arm if necessary?

Re: Two-handle stroller question...
I did. I registered for the Peg Perego Si. It's a very light weight Maclaren style stroller, and it comes w/ a cup holder and adapts w/ most carseats into a travel system. It was easy to push w/ one hand. I put a heavy tote in the seat to mock a baby.

I registered for a one handle stroller, it felt more comfortable for me. I hear the two handle strollers make shopping easier because you can hook bags on the handles.

Re: Two-handle stroller question...
Having had both the greco metrolight (one long handle) and the peg perego p3 (two handles) I can say that I preferred the one handle, however, I think the peg is a much better stroller. We primarily use the stroller for the mall and vacations. It is on relatively smooth surfaces all of the time. There are times when I wish the peg handled better with one hand - ie if I have other stuff in my hands, but with two hands it handles like a dream.

Re: Two-handle stroller question...
I have one of each - my graco quattro tour and my maclaren.
On days like today I needed my graco (although I didn't take it) because this morning I was walking to DD's day care trying to push the stroller with one hand and hold my umbrella with the other... didn't work very well.
But I love my maclaren since it's light and easy, and DD can buckle herself into it (she's 18 months) so I suffer.
