two kittens ?
our kitten has a brother at the shelter, identical, orange short haired domestic. We so close to adopting him too. I really think Bailey (our kitten) would benefit from having his brother around, especially as we are at work 12 hours a day when we are not working from home
what do you think?
eta I know kittens become cats
Update We did it We are adopting his brother My DH is naming the brother

Re: two kittens ?
i would do it - i wish we had! our kitten (well 3-yr-old cat ) is so playful it would have been nice for him to have someone to play with, we are often busy with DS and can't spend as much time as we would like with him.
when my parents first adopted their cats they got a brother and sister and they definitely entertained each other until they got old, fat and slow
if you can, i think it's a great thing to do.

Re: two kittens ?
Me too....since we got Sushi, I have been BEGGING DH to get her a playmate. I found a website that described bored kitty behavior and apparently Sushi has them all....solution was to get another playmate...

Same here. Our cat is VERY antisocial. I think a second cat friend would have helped and both DH and I wish we would have gotten 2.

Re: two kittens ?
Go for it. I have two six-month old brothers at home and they are inseparable. They definitely keep each other company when we are working... They also get into more trouble together but it's worth it.

Re: two kittens ?
YES! I always wished that we had gotten one of Jack's siblings. We added Anabelle over a year after Jack, and they just haven't bonded as much as I had hoped. Getting them both when they are young (and related) would be an insta-bond, I would think!
Post pics!

Re: two kittens ?
congrats!!!
We did the same thing with Bonnie & Clyde (our younger ones) I fell for Clyde but he was so much more confident with his sister around him and my hubby loved Bonnie's face... and now we have both!!
They are adorable when they are kittens and they fight-play

Re: two kittens ?
so glad to hear you did it. I truly think 2 are the same amount of work as 1 if not easier because they play with each other and keep each other company and keep each other out of mischief!
You're going to love to see them together. My two are brother and sister. They're awesome together. They fight. But they also cuddle.
