Two male cats need adopting.
A friend of my Mom's sent me this today:
"Do you know anyone who wants 2 male cats who are 3 and 4 years old and who live in Woodside, Queens. Their owner was sent to a nursing home about 9 months ago supposedly for a short time but now she has to stay there permanently. A neighbor has been feeding the cats, etc. but now the apartment will be let go. Preferably they should be adopted together. If they don't find a home, they will have to be destroyed. Please let me know."
There were no pictures attached to the e-mail.

Oh no!! Why would they have to be destroyed??
I would be interested in taking them, but we can't for at least another month!!

They need to be taken to a no kill shelter if they can't be adopted.
To destroy them is disgusting....

Maybe she said destroyed to add urgency and drama so someone would step up?
Either way, I hope someone can take them (I cant, DH Is allergic)!! It is terrible when older people cannot take care of their pets and must leave them. The owner and the cats must be heartbroken.
