Two Mets ticket questions
First, does anyone have any tickets to sell for Saturday, 6/2?
My friend and his wife are coming up from VA that weekend and we are going to the game. My friend said to get tix in either the Mezz reserved or upper box. He is insisting that they are treating for the tickets, so I have to go by what he says. I'm going to pick them up when I'm at the stadium next week, b/c I like avoiding the extra fees when I can.
My next question is: is it possible to get different seats at the stadium than are available online?
I didn't think it would be so tough to get good seats for that date, but there is nothing in mezz reserved and the only upper box are way out. My friend never gets to go to games, so I want him to have decent seats.
Worst comes to worst, I will spend a little more on stubhub or ebay and not tell him, and he can just pay for the face value of the tix.

We just had the same problem and the answer is yes.
We tried ordering tix for Friday night 6/22 off the website, and the seats they kept offering were horrible
we went to the met store in the city and had better seats

Thanks so much! That's a relief! I've never had such a tough time getting decent seats from the website before.

yeah it's a weird thing - the website used to be so good
i'd try the stadium or even the met store, either in the city or at roosevelt field
and stub hub, as you said, is always the last option
