two middle names?

I have seen some people give their children two middle names. How does that work with forms and middle initial?

I have two middle names However the only place you'll see both of them being used is on my birth certificate. Otherwise I only use one, the same one all the time. I'm not sure how it would work if I did want to use both. Im thinking you probably couldnt bc, if you think about it, on applications and stuff, they only give you one space for a middle initial. My second middle name is pretty much not known.

DS has two middle names...John Ryan...They are both on his birth certificate and whenever I fill out any paperwork I write both. But his social security card came with just the J as a middle initial.
