Two Questions (lawn & landscape)
Lawn: How often do you water your lawn?
Landscape: is there a place we can go to or work with that will plan and plant for you? We had to rip up all the shrubs when we did concrete work (didn't like them anyway) and now we have the open space that needs help in front of the house but we have no idea what we are doing. I need someone to do it for me (assuming we can afford it) Can anyone recommend someone like this?

Re: Two Questions (lawn & landscape)
Haven't watered mine in years. Even so, my lawn looks almost as good as the lawns that are watered every day. Far from perfect, but plenty good enough for me, and good enough to keep the neighbors from complaining.

Re: Two Questions (lawn & landscape)
Lawn - More or less - once per week.
Landscape - No experience but I've seen two beautifully landscaped homes with a "Holiday Land Cleaning" sign out front. I can't find them but the landscaping/shaping/plants were GORGEOUS! These were on south shore LI - one E Islip - seemed like a really nice area, and one ON busy Bay Shore Rd - Bay Shore/Deer Park/West Islip border.
I wish I could find them - I'd like to see how much they charge. Maybe someone on here will know?

Re: Two Questions (lawn & landscape)
Check out this site. They send you three or four vendors in your area that meet your needs. They contact you or you contact them and get quotes. We have done it twice now. And most large landscaping companies would be able to design your new landscaping. GL!

Abby's Parkside Nursery in Wantagh does this. My cousin used them last year for her yard.
