two strong lines on opk - twice
hi,
I got two dark, purple, even lines yesterday on my opk. Today, same thing. Is that normal? What does that mean, that it is detecting a surge, but I have not ovulated yet??

I don't use the line opks but they all work basically the same way. A positive opk indicates that your LH is surging, which (usually) means that you will ovulate within the following 12-36/48 hours. Getting 2 positives 2 days in a row just means you're still in that window.
They do recommend, though, that once you get a positive there is no need to continue testing.

You want to keep up the BD'ing for a couple of days after your surge...you to be sure the timing is right!

i would keep testing after i got my positive and my surge always lasted for two days, then gone on the third. it just means you have a pretty long surge.

I would get positive OPK's for 3-5 days in a row. Just keep BDing until a day after it is negative.
We BD'd every other day the time I got a BFP.

did you do consecutive days during the surge?? today the reference line is slightly darker, so maybe the surge is "going down"
